Barry Schoenholz's Simply Beautiful Images
Barry Schoenholz's photographs represent a moment in time. His photographic style reflects a personal passion and an invigorating approach to both portrait and fine art photography. Barry's camera becomes a nexus between his mind's eye and the reality that exists at that moment.
Thoughtfulness and respect for his subject are reflected in Barry's finished work. His goal is a photograph that produces more than mere words express, yet allows and invites the viewer's contextual interpretation and involvement.
Barry's images have appeared in a wide variety of venues which include but are not limited to:
one-man shows viewed by thousands of staff and students at Collin County (TX) Community College; one-man shows featuring the Allen (TX) Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra;
presentations to the Allen Rotary, Forney Rotary, and the Forney Chamber of Commerce;
group presentations at the Fourteenth Street Gallery - Plano, the Plano Government Center, and the Plano Center. In addition, his documentary work has been featured on Allen Cable TV. Further Barry Schoenholz's works appear in the Flint (MI) Institute of Arts Founders Society Gallery and in many private collections around the country.
2007-2010
The symphony live project was a joint endeavor with the Allen Philharmonic Symphony. It coordinated 20-foot projections of over 400 of his images with the Symphony's music chosen for the project's theme, Americana.
In addition his work has been shown in the city of Frisco, the City of Plano, one man show is planned for the Allen Philharmonic Fund Raising Event held at the Hilton Hotel in the city of Allen.
